Very few times have I ever wired or installed anything and it actually worked the first time. This one did. The instructions are few, but clear. The only unclear instruction, to me, was what to actually do with the white wire on the two prong plug. (It allows you to dim the panel) According to the instructions you wire it with the red and plug it in a fuse. If you do that, it does nothing. Easiest thing to do is leave it outside of everything. Once you have the panel up and running, touch the white wire to the positive terminal on the battery. (make sure you can see the panel) The brightness will change with each touch. When you get to the brightness you prefer, tape off the end of the wire and just tuck it away. When you power up the panel the next time, it will keep the brightness settings. For the price, you cannot beat this panel. I still give it 5 stars because the white wire issue may be just me being illiterate.
