I don't have access to the Jeep I will eventually install these on for quite some time so I decided to perform some bench testing to verify everything works as it should. I performed the same test on some Sunpie JL taillights, they performed just as well as they did. They look great, function well, and have a very nice look to them. See video for close-ups.
Of note, the instructions say that if your Jeep didn't come with daylight running lights that you need to run an included wire to a fuse, I didn't test this since the JEEP I will be installing is already equipped with DRL via the currently installed LED headlights.
Overall, I really like the look of these headlights, and even though they have a bit of funky sequence when you first power them up, I don't mind it at all, it looks pretty cool, it would look cooler if the sequence was a little slower, as this would remove the "strobe-like" look.
Overall I like these lights and they get 5 stars. If during the actual installation process I come across any issues I will report back but I don't expect any given my successful results during bench-top testing.
